I've known Jeff since I started full time in the states back in 1993. We really used to hang out a lot in the years I worked at Smith Optics.
My co-worker, former SX champion in his own right, Denny Stephenson was big friends with Fro. We used to spend most weekends together, so when he was approached to come to the Farleigh VMXDN he called me and asked if we could put something together for him. Needless to say it was a resounding yes.
We rebuilt the bike from the ground up as always. There was the usual low boy aluminium tank, Pro Circuit pipe/silencer but this one (and one we built for Jamie Dobb) had some very special KHI (factory Kawasaki ) forks with Pro Circuit clamps fitted. The billet front brake was also a nice touch along with the KHI colourway wheels. We adorned the bike with the 1994 Motocross des Nations graphics kit and his race number 7.
The bike came out really well but unfortunately for us he signed the month before the event to be a Husqvarna brand manager so the bike went on display in the Evo-MX booth prior to being sold.
